Vintage B&L Ray Ban Bausch & Lomb Wings Ten (10) Gold Aviator Screws Only. IMPORTANT: The bag that I received the screws in was labelled Wings screws in German. Turns out the screws also are the same size as LIC models.

These screws are only to hold in the lenses. Perfect for replacing your old stripped/worn screws. This listing is for five sets of two (2) screws for holding in lenses, total of 10 screws. Each set of two (2) screws will vary in color slightly.

These screws can be used in Gold Filled Aviator frames as well as Gold Plated Aviator frames (Color may differ slightly in comparison to your own frame). These hinge screws will fit Large Metal and Caravan Frames (52mm & 58mm), as well as Shooter Models in both Decot, and 62mm (Small & Large Bullet Hole Shooters). The color of these screws will be slightly different from your own frame as these are for Gold Plated frames. The color of these two (2) new hinge screws will vary slightly compared to your Gold Filled frame as these have never been used, and have not tarnished or aged over the years. IMPORTANT: Screws will likely be longer than the screws original to your glasses.

The only screw I know to be this length from the factory is the frames made in W. These screws are the same as (LIC) Models. The last two pictures show how the screws can be longer than normal screws. With this being the case, they still serve their purpose.

If using these screws in a later Bausch & Lomb Gold Plated (24k) frame, the color may vary since the type of gold that was used for the two hinge screws is of a slightly different variant. The threading on the screws may look slightly different than your own hinge screws since these are likely to have been produced late last century. This may result in the screw being a little difficult to thread into your frame, however if done carefully, should not damage the screw or the frame. There is a blue paint that is on the threading which shows that it is unused.

Some screws nay have very little while others will have more. This will rub off as it is used. I only know these screws to work in Bausch & Lomb Ray Ban Aviator Sunglasses (Large Metal, Shooters, and Caravans) from the early 1960's to the early 1980's since I tested the screws in various pairs of sunglasses in my own collection, as well as in pairs that will be and/or have been listed.
